Static
Line Training
Static
Line Training is a method of beginning
skydiver training in which the parachute
is deployed by the static line as the
student leaves the airplane. The student,
directed by radio commands from the
ground, descends to the ground under the
parachute. The static line jumps are from
3200'. It takes a minimum of 5 static
line jumps to proceed onto freefall.
To
skydive you must be 18 years old and
weigh less than 230 pounds.
Prices:
The first jump course is $150.00 (group
rates are available)
Successive
student jumps are $45.00 (gear rental
included)
(discount jump tickets are available at 5
jumps for $200.00)
First
Jump Course requires an 8 hour
commitment. It begins at 9 am and uses
video, demonstrations and practice
sessions to prepare the student for their
first jump that afternoon. Should the
weather be unsafe for students to jump
that day, we encourage them to return the
first available weekend day to experience
their first jump.
Classes
are usually scheduled on Saturday, we
will work with each individual to
schedule a class to fit your needs. We
